2004 Christmas Tree Crop

2004 DOUGLAS FIR (July picture)

This is a picture (July 2004) of one of our Douglas tree fields.  Oregon grows the BEST Christmas trees! 

The trees still have to be shaped (sheared), but this years crop is coming along nicely! 

 


 

2004 NOBLE FIR (July picture)

Noble Firs are the most popular tree on the market today.  All trees in this field are in the 7' - 8' and 8' - 9' range.

This is a picture (July 2004) of one our noble tree fields.  They'll make the most beautiful Christmas Trees after they're shaped (sheared)! 

 


 

2004 Douglas Fir (June picture)

Again, these pictures were taken before the shearing which takes place in August.  We'll be pruning and straightening the tops of the individual trees.  It's quite the amazing process. 

 

2004 Noble Firs - Hotel Quality (June picture)

This field of noble fir trees are 11' to 22' in size, which is perfect sizing for large office building and hotel lobby Christmas trees.

We have an entire field filled with these large hotel quality Christmas trees.  All of the noble fir trees in this field are in the 11' to 22' size range.

Not as pretty now are they?  These pictures were taken during the month of June 2004.  All of the trees will be shaped (sheared) during the month of August.  We will be pruning the trees and straightening the tops.
